Eligibility
All employees are assessed every six (6) months from their initial Standard Measurement Period (SMP) to determine their eligibility. The measurement periods are:
- December 1 through May 31
- June 1 through November 30
During this time employees must ensure they average 30 hours or more per week to maintain their health benefits.
Open Enrollment
During this time, you can:
- Change your current coverage, if needed
- Enroll in benefits, if newly hired or newly eligible for benefits
- Update your dependent information
- Update your beneficiary information
You will enroll in benefits through your UKG Pro benefits portal or the UKG Pro Mobile App.

Qualifying Life Event
Certain life events provide you a 30-day window to elect benefits or change your covered dependents.
What is a Qualifying Life Event? If you experience any of the scenarios below, you may be eligible to update your benefit elections mid-year:

• Confirmation Statement confirming benefits enrolled, enrollment dates as well as individuals covered • Notification of spouse’s employment status that results in a loss or gain of coverage | |
